( 4UMF NEWS ) Yung Berg‘s Former Manager Killed:
Record executive/manager Christopher “Cam” Martin was killed in a shooting that took place over this past weekend in South Carolina. Martin’s body was reportedly found early Saturday (August 4th) morning near a vacant home in Berkeley, South Carolina’s New Hope Community.
Martin had been an artist manager at Jive Records, and a director of A&R at Polo Grounds/J Records, among other industry-related activities. He worked extensively with artists like Yung Berg and Hurricane Chris, and was also the CEO of Camouflage Entertainment.
Several rappers acknowledged the tragedy, with Berg in particularly offering his thoughts. “RIP 2 MY BROTHER CHRISTOPHER MARTIN AKA CAM! GONE 2 SOON! WAS JUST WITH HIM 2 DAYS AGO!” Berg tweeted.
