( 4UMF NEWS ) UPS Drivers Busted Delivering Pot:

Two United Parcel Service drivers and another man were busted by NYPD narcotics detectives in Brooklyn after unloading 30 pounds of pot from a delivery truck to a waiting minivan, police said.

A UPS employee at a Brooklyn warehouse tipped off cops at 5:30 a.m. Thursday that there were three five-gallon buckets of marijuana in a UPS truck on Farragut Rd., police and sources said.

Detectives followed UPS driver Alexis Herv, 52, who was with off-duty driver Ruben Jordan, 44, of Brooklyn. The pair met third suspect, Donovan Hyde, 58, who was waiting in a parked Chrysler minivan nearby, police said.

They unloaded the buckets and a cardboard box filled with pot into Hyde’s van shortly before Brooklyn narcotics detectives swept in and confiscated it, arresting the trio in the process, cops said.

Herv, who lives in Pennsylvania, and Jordan, of Brooklyn, were charged with criminal sale and criminal possession of marijuana. Hyde was charged with marijuana possession.

A UPS spokeswoman did not immediately return a message for comment on the case.
