Calling All Unsigned Artist!
Now is your chance to get noticed. With our 4UMF Unsigned Artist Search!
All unsigned talent Starting March 1st, 4UMF will be accepting two (2) songs from all unsigned artists to be considered for a compilation EP that will be promoted and sent out to label executives at Slip-N-Slide Records, Atlantic Records, Island/Def Jam, Capitol Records, Arista Records, Warner Bros Records, Sony BMG, Geffen Records, Columbia Records, Ruff Ryder, Universal Music, Bad Boy Entertainment, J Records, Aftermath Entertainment, Virgin Records, TVT Records, Shady Records, G-Unit Records, So So Icey etc.
The top ten artists will have both of their songs on the compilation CD. We will also provide the top five winners with music industry contacts in or around your area.
The top artist will have a professional press release created that will be blasted through various news outlets including AP, Google News, Yahoo News, MSNBC, Bing News, Ask.com, Reddit, Technorati, Del.icio.us and Digg. Which the entire world gets there news from.
What you need to do:
Send two (2) songs a bio, hi-res biggest 500×500 jpeg of yourself or the group, a music video, preferably on You tube (if you have one) and all social networking links to new_music@4umf.com.

Promote your page on the various social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as many times as you like. Getting people to vote on your page, leave comments and re tweet the page.

You have from March 1st – May25th to enter the contest. Each contestant will have a page created on 4UMF that will contain both songs, bio and picture.
June 4th – June 15th, promote your page and have your friends support your music.
We will pick the top five (5) artists based on creativity of the songs, lyrics, Twitter hits, spins and comments.
The winners will be announced on June 1st.
