On Tuesday night, Shyne decided to share his opinion on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album “good kid, M.A.A.D. City” which released this past Monday. Shyne wasn’t impressed by the LP, saying that Lamar is a talented artist but his album is trash.

“Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash!,” he tweeted.

The former Bad Boy Records artist caught flack from many Twitter users including a few fellow rappers. Among them was ScHoolboy Q, who is part of Top Dawg Entertainment along with Kendrick, and he wasn’t going to let Shyne ruin his good friend’s big day. He took to Twitter himself and lashed back at Shyne.

ScHoolboy Q says his response to Shyne “Needed to be said”.
