( 4UMF NEWS ) Thugs Mug Deacon Inside Church:
A tattooed mugger and his heartless sidekick beat a church deacon with a chair before robbing him inside the basement of a Brooklyn house of worship, police sources said.
The two teenage suspects slipped into the Glover Memorial Baptist Church in Brownsville through an unlocked door around 2 p.m. Wednesday and confronted their victim.
One of the pair demanded cash — and then attacked the unidentified deacon for claiming that he wasn’t carrying any money, police said.
After bashing the man in the back with a chair and smacking him in the face, the two swiped the victim’s wallet, cash, phone and laptop computer, cops said.
The attacker was described as a black male about 5-foot-8 and 135 pounds with a skull tattooed on the right side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap and a red hooded sweatshirt.
His accomplice was about an inch shorter and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweat pants.
