( 4UMF NEWS ) Three-Year-Old Strapped With Gun:
Police pulled 19-year-old Queshawn King over in the East Garfield neighborhood last Wednesday night after noticing two children in his car were not strapped into safety seats, the Chicago Tribune reported.
As they walked toward the car, cops spotted King moving toward a three-year-old child in the backseat. When police pulled King out of the car, he called out to the girl several times, using her nickname, “Fatty.”
A police sergeant looked in the passenger side window and saw the little girl clutching a 9mm pistol, the Tribune reported.
The officer tried to take the weapon from her, but the girl threw it on the floor, cops said.
Luckily, it didn’t go off.
Cops said the gun was loaded with eight rounds. The four other passengers told the officers the gun was not theirs. King was hit with weapons and endangering a child charges and booked into Cook County jail on $50,000 bond.
