( 4UMF NEWS ) Three Men Killed In Overnight Violence:
Three men were shot to death in separate incidents in Queens and the Bronx overnight, police said.
The first of the killings occurred in the Bronx about 1:30 a.m. Police sources said two men got into an argument over marijuana in a Parkchester apartment on Unionport Road and one pulled a gun and shot the other in the leg. The wounded man, 23, then stabbed the 22-year-old shooter with a knife before grabbing the gun from him and fatally shooting him. Both men were taken to Jacobi Hospital, where the 22-year-old died and the 23-year-old was arrested after being treated.
Then about 2:30 a.m. two shootings in Queens felled two men.
A 39-year-old man was shot multiple times in the chest in front of a house on 210th St. in Cambria Heights and died at the scene. Police sources said cops are looking for a silver Toyota that fled the area.
Minutes later in Rockaway Beach, an 18-year-old man was fatally shot in front of a bodega on Rockaway Beach Blvd. near the Hammel Houses by a gunman who walked up to the victim and pumped a bullet into his chest. The victim was taken to St. John’s Hospital but could not be saved.
