( 4UMF NEWS ) Teen Tries To Burn Family Alive:
A 15-year-old girl is facing charges of attempted murder after police said she intentionally started a fire at her New Jersey home that injured her and five of her relatives.
Two of the victims — an adult woman and a boy — suffered serious internal burns in the early Saturday blaze, WPVI-TV reported.
The teen allegedly poured gasoline on the second floor of her home in Clayton and lit it.
The Gloucester County prosecutor’s office has charged a 15-year-old girl in connection to an early morning fire that sent several members of her family to the hospital.
The house smoke detectors went off, alerting the family, and a 6-year-old boy who was inside was not injured, according to the Courier-Post.
One girl injured her hip jumping from the second floor to escape, and the girl who allegedly started the fire suffered burns to her feet.
She was treated at a local hospital before being transported to Camden County Juvenile Shelter and charged with six counts of attempted murder and two counts of arson.
