( 4UMF NEWS ) NBA 2K13 Release Date:
The next installment of 2K Sports‘ popular pro basketball franchise, NBA 2K13, will hit stores on October 2.
The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation Portable. A version for Nintendo’s upcoming console Wii U will be available later.
Publisher 2K Sports did not reveal any specifics on what will change in this year’s simulation. Video game players who pre-order the game will get a free All-Star content download, which includes the Slam Dunk Content, Three-Point Shootout and Rising Stars Challenge.
No other details on new features for NBA 2K13 were provided.
The platform selection is particularly interesting for this year’s release. 2K did not indicate why the Wii U release would be delayed. However, it’s likely it will coincide with the console’s arrival, which Nintendo might reveal next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
