( 4UMF NEWS ) Man Stung To Death By Bees:
A 65-year-old Texas man died after his riding lawnmower riled up a hive of bees that swarmed and stung him. Juan Urrita was stung so many times last Thursday that his airway closed up, his niece Leticia Arceneaux told KHOU-TV.
By the time paramedics arrived at his Bexar County home, he had stopped breathing. He was mowing his lawn with help from his brother Frank when he rode past a rarely used side of the house where the hive was hidden.
Both Juan and Frank were stung by the aggravated bees. Juan was rushed to a local hospital, where he died.
Juan Urrita was a retired father of four, and his brother Frank had also recently retired, according to KHOU.
