A Washington man’s illegal pot growing operation was busted after his girlfriend’s 9-year-old daughter accidentally ate a pot brownie and got sick, Seattle’s Q13 FOX reported.
Child protective services alerted the DEA after the girl’s mother, Michelle Wanick, brought the little girl to a hospital in Yakima on March 28 because she woke up feeling sick.
Agents raided Bradley Marvin’s pot operation on Friday and found 117 pot plants, bags of marijuana and steroids, the Yakima Herald reported.
Marvin and Wanick, a nurse at a county jail, were arrested and held without bail.
Marvin was busted in 1998 for running a pot growing operation in Ellensburg, the Herald reported.
