New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced the Knick versus Nets opener will no longer take place tomorrow night due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The highly anticipated regular-season opener between borough rivals Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks was supposed to be the first NBA regular-season game at the $1 billion Barclays Center.

No word on when the game will be made up.
