Kanye West Pleads Guilty

( 4UMF NEWS ) Kanye West Pleads Guilty:

Kanye West pleaded guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday to throwing an amp through a Times Square storefront window.

No, not that Kanye West. The guilty part is a diehard fan of the “Golddigger” singer who legally changed her name to show her devotion — and even had “Kanye” tattooed on her derriere.

Formerly known as Linda Resa, Miss West, 28, was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree for her diva-like meltdown.

The aspiring singer who busks at 41st Street and 7th Ave. said she had lost her cool because her cheap amp charger fizzed out during her opening number — a cover of “Videophone” by Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

Wearing a large afro wig, West barely got past the line “Shawty, what yo name is?” when it died.

“I’m normally very sweet. I have a little bit of an anger problem,” she said. “I threw the speaker and it hit the window. You know I didn’t see the window there because there were cops right there.”

The amp smashed the window of an Office Depot by the Times Square subway entrance, and she was arrested.

“I was feeling cocky and powerful so when it happened I just flipped,” said the street performer, who hails from the South Side of Chicago.

She said she changed her name in April 2011 to show the original Kanye West she wasn’t just an ordinary fan.

“There are a lot of girls who like him and I wanted to show that I’m more than them,” she said.

The hip-hop mogul even once offered her encouraging words, when she came in 12th place at a “Chicago Idol” talent search competition in 2005.

“He said, ‘Oh my God, it was awesome. You have superstar power. You really know how to work the stage.”

The starstruck fan now performs songs “about my love for Kanye West” wearing a wedding dress under the stage name “Mrs. Kanye West.”

Her numbers include “I got 99 problems, but Kim K ain’t one,” referring to the star’s current squeeze, Kim Kardashian.

Miss West crinkled her nose when Kardashian’s name came up.

“I don’t like her,” she said. “I’ve said a lot of mean things on Twitter about her.”

She needs some help…
