( 4UMF NEWS ) Hijack Threats Ground Two Airplanes:

An American Airlines and FinnAir planes were being held in a safe zone at John F. Kennedy Airport Monday afternoon after the airport received a phoned threat to hijack them, law-enforcement sources said.
The planes, which had arrived from San Francisco and Helsinki, were moved to an isolated area of the airport to be searched, sources said. They had already landed when the call came in.
Neither pilot indicated an emergency, sources said.
