( 4UMF NEWS ) Happy Days Star Homeless:
Looks like Joanie’s all out of love and down on her luck.
Erin Moran, who rose to prominence as spunky Joanie Cunningham on hit 70s show “Happy Days,” has fallen on tough times, having been evicted from the trailer park where she and her husband had been living with her mother-in-law, the National Enquirer reports.
According to the tabloid, Moran, 51, and husband Steve Fleischman were previously taking up residence in the Indiana trailer park after their California home reportedly faced foreclosure. But it was Moran’s allegedly hard-partying ways that ultimately got the couple booted out of their temporary home and out onto the streets.
“Erin was was going out to bars and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve’s mom just couldn’t take it anymore,” a source told the Enquirer.
And in recent photographs, Moran certainly looks worse for wear, smoking cigarettes and her previously well-coiffed hair a mess.
The actress – who played Richie Cunningham‘s sister on the 70s sitcom – was reportedly thrown out of the trailer by her mother-in-law. The former TV star is reportedly bouncing from one hotel to another presently, and is scraping by with the last of the $65,000 she received following a lawsuit with CBS earlier this year.
In July, Moran and costars Marion Ross, Don Most and Anson Williams joined together to sue CBS, claiming that they had not been paid their share of the profits from sale of “Happy Days” paraphernalia.
The costars originally asked for $10 million.
