Drumma Boy Interview

( 4UMF NEWS ) Drumma Boy Interview:

Multi-platinum producer Drumma Boy has released the second installment of his Welcome II My City mixtape series. The highly-anticipated project includes guest spots from Future, Gangsta Boo, 8Ball & MJG, Beanie Sigel, Young Dolph, 2Deep with production from Drumma Boy himself, Mars, Degree and Don Vito.

4UMF got a chance to catch up with the busy producer. The Memphis native opened up about his musical roots and family, repping his city and his goals in the industry. He even broke down the different chairs of an orchestra.

Because he came from a family of musicians, Drumma Boy talked about schools across the country cutting their music programs and what he would like to do to help fill that void.

Drumma Boy has worked with a slew of artists including T.I., Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Wiz Khalifa, and Chris Brown and admitted who he likes to work with and why.

Drumma Boy dropped a few gems of wisdom. When asked what motivates and inspires him, the Grammy-nominated producer always remembers where he comes from. ‘Knowing your history makes you go so much further.’
