( 4UMF NEWS ) Dez Bryant Out For Year:
Just when it looked like the Dallas Cowboys were primed to make a run, and wide receiver Dez Bryant was finally turning into the player he was expected to be, news hits that Bryant’s season is over with surgery on his finger. He reportedly tore ligaments in it, and it simply isn’t an injury that can be pain managed.
Definitely a blow to the Cowboys and their playoff chances. Tony Romo was relying on him much more as of late, and he seemingly was coming up with the big play when needed.
After struggling his first couple of seasons in the league and having off-the-field issues, Bryant has caught 75 balls for 1028 yards and 9 touchdowns in 13 games.
