( 4UMF NEWS ) Christopher “Kid” Reid Arrested and Released
Christopher “Kid” Reid — one half of the rap group Kid n’ Play — was arrested in Los Angeles, TMZ has learned.
We’re told LAPD officers went to Reid’s home to take him into custody because there was an active warrant out for his arrest because he failed to show up for probation stemming from a DUI arrest back in 2010.
Sources tell us Kid was “very cooperative” with the cops, and according to the rapper, he’s the victim of messy paperwork at the LAPD, telling TMZ … while sporting a big grin … his arrest today was merely a huge “clerical error.”
But despite the alleged mix-up, Kid had no hard feelings on his way out of jail — telling us, “I love L.A. Peace to the Po-Po.”
