( 4UMF NEWS ) Alex Rodriguez Selling $38 Million Mansion:
New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez may be on the disabled list, but that does not mean he can’t wow the crowds, this time by putting his enormous Miami mansion on the market for a jaw-dropping $38 million.
The 37-year-old third baseman, known to all as A-Rod, bought the palatial estate in 2010 while it was still under construction for a reported $24 million.
Now, he is looking to unload the 20,000-square-foot property for a substantial profit.
The waterfront property features nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a home theater, a heated pool, steam room, gym, rooftop deck, an elevator and a 3,000 square-foot sports room complete with a batting cage, of course, according to the New York Daily News.
The two-story home, which the third baseman bought after his divorce from Cynthia Curtis, also comes with 12-foot glass windows that open onto the bay.
According to South Florida real estate brokers, while the overall market is unstable, deep-pocketed buyers with an eye for high-end properties will likely jump on the opportunity to snap up the trendy mega-mansion.
