5. One more “hobbies of the stars” bit comes from ET Online with the article’s description of Robert Pattinson, one star who has received particular attention as of late. When he’s not appearing on the big screen, he likes to spending time writing songs and playing on his guitar.
6. It seems that what the stars do when they aren’t working is something in which many people hold a great interest. The Huffington Post also wrote an article entitled “Celebrity Hobbies: How The Other Half Unwinds.” Did you know that Rod Stewart has an affection for model trains? It’s true. In fact, the Huffington Post reports that his trains have actually appeared on the cover of a model train magazine.
7. Tom Cruise is a star who people have been watching for years, and they are always eager to see what his next move will be. Well, according to the aforementioned article, it’s not only motion picture moves for which people should watch. Cruise is actually a big fan of the popular game Scrabble.
8. You might be surprised to learn the Huffington post also reports that David Arquette is an avid knitter. Likely, there are plenty of ladies who wouldn’t mind receiving a handcrafted scarf from this Hollywood hunk.
9. When Jack Moore’s Buzzfeed article, “11 Surprising Celebrity Hobbies,” comes into play, expect to be more than a little shocked. Well known for his amazing roles in more than a few films, Tom Hanks loves to collect typewriters.
10. It looks like golf isn’t the only sport in which Tiger Woods participates. Moore notes that spear fishing is one of this avid golfer’s hobbies.
It’s true that the stars have hobbies just as the rest of us do. Perhaps they have a bit more money to spend on their pursuits, but it’s still a part of their lives that helps to make them more human in the eyes of the public. Perhaps these interests will encourage you to pursue a new passion of your own whether it’s stamp collecting or hiking.
